Arrival at Chennai. Reach Mahabalipuram. Overnight at an

Day 2 :

Visit the Pallava temples in Mahabalipuram village,a 7th
century port cityof the South Indian dynasty of the
Pallavas. Overnight at beach resort.
Day 03 :

Mahabalipuram
Morning Excursion to Kanchipuram, the ancient capital of
the Pallavas, theplace famous for its thousand temples.
Overnight at beach resort.
Day 04 :
Mahabalipuram
- Tanjavur
Board the train for Tanjavur, check in at a traditional
village home onArrival. spend a day at the village.
Day 05 : Tanjavur
Take a visit to the Chola Temples and ruins at Darasuram
and Tanjavur. Enjoy the evening with a Folk theatre show
at the village.
Day06 : Tanjavur
Experience the ancient history with the visit to the
Chola ruins at Paluvurand Gangaikond acholapuram also
the Veda school and bronze casting villages.
Barathanatayam dance performance in the evening.
Overnight at traditional village home.
Day 07 : Tanjavur -
Trichy
Drive to Trichy, on arrival check in at hotel. after
having some visit the temple town of Srirangam
Day 08 :

Madurai
Drive to Madurai. On arrival, check in at hotel. Leter,
a visit to the palaces and local bazars. In the evening
see traditional ceremonies at the Meenakshi Temple.
Overnight at hotel.
Day 09 :
Madurai
Explore Meenakshi Temple entire day. Overnight at hotel.
The temple dedicated to Lord Shiva, known here as
Sundareshvara and his consort Parvati or Meenakshi.
Original temple was built by Kulasekara Pandya, but the
entire credit for making the temple as splendid as it is
today goes to the Nayaks. The Madurai Meenakshi
Sundareswarar temple is literally a splendid art gallery
with each stone, each image breathing the tradition of
this ancient - and vibrant culture,
Day 10 :

Backwaters
On arrival transfer to House Boats (Kettuvallam).
Overnight in house boat.
Day11 :
Kerala
Backwaters
Cruise on the Backwaters. Exploring Kerala backwaters
for what Kerala is famous for
Day 12 :
Cochin
Transfer to hotel on Arrival to Cochin. Afetrnoon, tour
of the city. Kathakali dance performance in the evening.
Overnight at hotel.
Day 13 :
Chennai
Transfer to the airport to board your onward flight.
