Day 01 : Arrive
Cochin
On arrival at Cochin International Airport met with our
representative and transfer to the pre-reserved hotel.
Later in the afternoon move to Fort Cochin, the
strategic township where you can visit a number of
historic attractions like Dutch Palace, Jewish
Synagogue, St. Francis Church of Cochin, Chinese Fushing
Nets. Also enjoy a boat ride in the evening across the
Cochin Harbor. Night stay at the hotel
Day 02 : Cochin - Thekkady (170 km/5 hours)
In the morning drive to Thekkady (Periyar Wildlife
reserve). On arrival at Thekkady check in at the jungle
resort. Rest of the day free for leisure and stay night
at the hotel.
Day 03 : Thekkady
After breakfast take a game-viewing cruise along the
beautiful lake of Periyar and enjoy watching the amusing
wildlife from close quarters. Periyar wildlife tour has
elephants, monkeys, deer, wild boar and a number of rare
species of birds. Lunch in the hotel at Thekkady and
then later visit the lush green spice plantation. Night
stay at the hotel.
Day 04 : Thekkady - Kumarakom (130 km/4 hours)
Early breakfast in the hotel and then move to Kumarakom
which is one of the finest backwater destination in
Kerala. Enjoy your stay near the beautiful and
picturesque Vembanad Lake of Kerala. Relaxing day at
Kumarakom as you explore the exotic locale. In your
reasort or nearby you may also take a specialized
Ayurvedic Massage. In the evening we take you to a
sunset cruise at Kumarakom Backwaters of Kerala. Night
stay in the resort of Kumarakom.
Day 05 : Kumarakom
Today take a tour to Kumarakom Bird Sanctuary and some
of the farmhouses in Kumarakom. Rest of the time free at
your resort for relaxation and stay.
Day 06 : Kumarakom - Marari (30 km/1 hour)
After breakfast take a comfortable drive to Mararikulam
through the picturesque route which offers panoramic
views of coconut palm groves. Spend leisurely time in
your beautiful resort at Marari. Marari is a small
picturesque village in Kerala inhabited by the local
fishermen. This small village has not changed its shape
for many decades and the peaceful atmosphere of Marari
help to forget your worries and tensions of the busy day
to day life. A beach holidays in Kerala is not completed
if you did not visited Marari. Night stay at the hotel.
Day 06 : Marari
Breakfast will be in the hotel. Rest of the day free to
relax and exploring the beauty of the nature at
Mararikulam. Night stay in the hotel.
Day 07 : Marari -
Cochin (80 km/2 hours)
After breakfast intime assisted transfer will be
arranged to Cochin airport from where you board your
flight to onward destination.
